HOA Committees



Aldea Committies

The following committees have been chartered directly by the Homeowners Association and work to assist the Board of Directors in providing input and expertise in a variety of fields.

--Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

It is the responsibility of the Committee to meet periodically to review and rule on proposed exterior changes, modifications and/or improvements to homes and property within the Aldea de Santa Fe Association. The Committee will assure the aesthetics of the community are not compromised and the intent of the Association’s Governing Documents and Design Code* are not violated. Many specific situations are unique and the ARC must decide and rule on each situation in the best interest of the entire Community in order to maintain property values.

The ARC is responsible to the Board of Directors for the approval or disapproval of all exterior modifications made to homeowners’ property within Aldea de Santa Fe jurisdiction. It is the responsibility of each homeowner to request written authorization from the ARC, prior to making any exterior alterations to homes or property.

--Aldea Events Committee (AEC)

The Aldea Events Committee (AEC) is a volunteer committee chartered to assist the Board of the Homeowners Association (HOA) and the HOA management in the planning of community events for the benefit of Aldea residents and assistance on the use of the Aldea Community Center Building.  It is a standing committee created by the Board of Directors and consists of homeowners who are in good standing.  Renters are also welcomed to participate as an AEC member.

--Permaculture Committee (PC)

The Permaculture Committee acts to advise the Aldea HOA board and manager on how best to apply permaculture techniques and propose permaculture initiatives. These initiatives would be used as best practice techniques to assist the community in making better use of our limited water supply.

The committee is composed of interested Aldea homeowners in good standing and is led by a chairperson that is appointed by the Board of Directors.  Each committee member is expected to become knowledgeable about permaculture issues through individual study and through information disseminated by committee members, external expert organizations and/or state and local governmental agencies.primis in faucibus orci luctus et ultrices posuere cubilia Curae.
